Director Makoto Shinkai's 2007 theatrical animation, "5 Centimeters per Second," will receive a
live-action movie adaptation.
Yoshiyuki Okuyama will create a new world of "5 Centimeters per Second" starring Hokuto
Matsumura, who played Souta Munakata in Suzume. Expected to premiere in Autumn 2025.
